Cultivar Sauvignon Blanc
Intensely aromatic, with peach and nectarine fruit complemented by floral aromas. Stainless steel fermentation allows the wine to remain crisp and refreshing yet still having length on the palate.
California Sauvignon Blanc is smooth and slightly fuller bodied than its ever popular New Zealand counter part. This, along with it's bright fruitiness, makes it a Perfect Pair with
Oven Baked Wings
Base wings recipe
5 lbs wings
2 T butter
2 T extra virgin olive oil
salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
Melt the butter and mix with olive oil. Toss wings with all ingredients. Spray sheet pans very well with nonstick spray. Make sure not to crowd the wings. They won't get crispy of there is too many per sheet. Put into oven preheated to 450. Flip wings after 25-30 minutes (once brown on the bottom) and continue to cook for an additional 20-25 minutes. Cooking time will vary depending on the size of your wings. I have found that they are nearly impossible to over cook. They just get yummier.
Once finished cooking toss with either Franks Sweet Chili, Franks Red Hot mixed with equal part melted butter, or a blend of finely chopped garlic (I use frozen Dorot's) melted butter and grated parmesan.
